Zenitel announces EN54 certification for exigo PA/VA system

Zenitel announces that the Vingtor-Stentofon Exigo system has received EN54-16 certification for use in Voice Alarm applications.

CEO Kenneth Dåstøl issued the following statement: “This is a proud day for Zenitel. Exigo has been certified towards the strictest standards for maritime and offshore use for some time. Now it also holds EN54-16, perhaps the most comprehensive standard for voice evacuation onshore. We are happy to see that Exigo is trusted with securing lives onshore as well as offshore.

EN54 certification enables market opportunities in EU/ECC where voice alarm integration is required and wherever EN54-16 certification is requested by the project/customer. “I’m looking forward to see Exigo being used in new segments and applications” comments Dåstøl.

The certificate has been effective from 11th of April, 2016 and covers the following Exigo products:

  • System controller
    • ESC1
  • Amplifier
    • ENA2200
