VMETRO wins significant contract in Germany

VMETRO has signed a significant contract in Germany worth NOK 17.6 million. The contract is a master purchase agreement due to run until the end of next year.

VMETRO has signed a significant contract in Germany worth NOK 17.6 million. The contract is a master purchase agreement due to run until the end of next year.
 
VMETRO asa, through its German subsidiary, VSYSTEMS Electonic GmbH, has signed a master purchase agreement worth EUR 2 130 000 (circa NOK 17.6 million) with a German defense contractor.
This is one of VMETRO's biggest ever contracts outside the USA.
 
VMETRO will be delivering third-party products that are incorporated into surveillance and electronic communication solutions. Most of the order is expected to be delivered during the first-half of the contract period, i.e. in 2007.
 
"This is one of our biggest contracts ever outside the USA and it strengthens our foothold in the German and European defense industry," says Christian Jebsen, CEO of VMETRO.
