Norway seems to yet again turn it around and buck the European trend of high unemployment.
After a few months of a minor increase, the unemployment rates have yet again dropped and are back at 3.5 per cent shows the latest statistical reports.
Norway is in a peculiar situation compared to the EU, where the unemployment rate is 11.2 per cent. Unemployment in Sweden went up from 8.0 per cent to 8.3 per cent in the same period. In Denmark, the unemployment decreased by 0.3 percentage points to 7.0 per cent in April. If we look over the sea to USA things are looking positive and unemployment decreased from 7.9 per cent in January to 7.5 per cent in April.
