The Research Council’s Focus on Business Seminar 2016: "Without Borders"

Technological development is moving so quickly that industries worth billions are being built and others are collapsing over very short periods of time. National borders are breaking down, migration is at an all-time high and competition in trade and industry has become global.

This raises a number of questions that the conference will address, including: How can companies and individuals manoeuvre as traditional borders are erased? What can we do to take full advantage of ground-breaking technology? How do we safeguard ethical considerations in a world without borders? Can people on the move be a resource for companies?
