The Fisher King

Kjell Inge Røkke's Norway Seafoods has received government approval to become the nation's largest trawler company by taking over fish processing company Findus Hammerfest and its 40-percent stake in Hammerfest Industrifiske. Norway Seafoods will thus expand its fleet to 17 trawlers, accounting for 10 percent of the total Norwegian cod quota. Through another firm he controls, Mr. Røkke has mounted a battle for control of Kværner, the Anglo-Norwegian industrial conglomerate.
