TANDBERG and GlowPoint Win 14 Location IP-Video Deal With Allied Office Products

Companies Team to Provide Customer with Complete and Integrated Visual Communications Solution

Glowpoint, Inc., the world’s leading broadcast-quality IP-based video communications service provider, and TANDBERG, a global provider of visual communication solutions, today announced that Allied Office Products, the nation’s largest independent dealer of office products and services, has chosen GlowPoint and TANDBERG to provide video communication services in 14 locations across the United States.

As part of the agreement, Allied becomes a subscriber to GlowPoint’s “All You Can See” Unlimited Video Calling Plans with TANDBERG as its exclusive provider of video systems.  Allied has also purchased a TANDBERG Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) that will be hosted within GlowPoint’s IP-network.  Operating primarily in the northeast and mid-Atlantic states, Allied Office Products has sales offices throughout the United States and plans to leverage the GlowPoint, TANDBERG solution for enhanced company communications.

“Allied was looking for a complete and flexible solution for their visual communications,” said David Trachtenberg, president and CEO of GlowPoint.  “The combination of world class video systems, network infrastructure solutions and advanced IP-based video applications offered by TANDBERG and GlowPoint created an unbeatable bundle.”

“TANDBERG is committed to delivering end-to-end visual communication solutions that increase the productivity of our customers,” said Brad Johnston, president of TANDBERG Americas.  “Combining TANDBERG video products with GlowPoint's IP-network services provided a truly customer-focused solution.”

The 14 GlowPoint locations and TANDBERG MCU were ordered in December, 2004 and are expected to be installed throughout first quarter, 2005.
