Stock market saps Telenor prospects

International brokerage firms have advised Telenor to delay its plan to list its shares on public stock exchanges.

Technology stocks - particularly in the telecommunications sector - have plunged throughout the world in recent months as a result of earnings worries. Uncertainty over the American presidential election results has added to the volatility.
