Statkraft in new UK power deal

INTPOW partner and power producer Statkraft has signed 15-year power purchase agreements with developer John Laing for two UK wind farms.

The deals cover all electricity and renewable benefits at the 14.4MW Burton Wold extension near Kettering, Northamptonshire, and the 15.3MW Carscreugh in Dumfries and Galloway.

Statkraft already has 15-year PPAs in place with John Laing for the 8.2MW Wear Point wind farm near Milford Haven and the 10.25MW Bilsthorpe scheme in Nottinghamshire (pictured) , signed in December 2012 and August 2012 respectively.
