63 percent of Norwegians use social media, an increase of 4 percent compared to last year.
Women's use of social media showed the largest increase, along with the older age groups, according to the figures from Statistics Norway. At the same time, however, the share of users between 25 to 34 years old decreased from 87 to 83 percent.
The research from Statistics Norway also shows that 93 percent of Norwegian households have access to the internet. More than half of the households have access to mobile broadband.
