Research cooperation with Singapore

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Research Council of Norway (RCN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) the 23rd of April, to renew their bilateral agreement on maritime Research and Development (R&D), education and training for another three years. Within this MOU, companies and research institutes are encouraged to engage in joint collaborative research projects.

 

Companies and institutes that are interested in cooperating with Singaporean partners has to apply for funding through sending in a normal “Application for funding” to the MAROFF program at the regular dates which are 5th September for Knowledge Building Projects and 17th October for Innovation Projects.

For the Singaporean partners, MPA or other funding resources are available to cover the activity in Singapore.
