Proposing NOK 1 billion growth in 2015 research budget

The Research Council of Norway is recommending an increase of NOK 1 billion for research in its proposal to the national budget for 2015. Eight proposed main priority areas account for over half of this increase.

The document Store satsinger 2015 (in English: "Priority initiatives for 2015") is the Research Council’s first input to the relevant ministries for their discussions on the national budget for 2015. The document outlines a general distribution of the proposed growth, by ministry and priority area. The input will be specified in greater detail in the Research Council’s final budget proposal, to be submitted to the ministries in spring 2014.

If you would like to read more about the document, please visit the Research Council of Norway's website.
