Mesko and Nammo Signed Co-operation Strategic Teaming Agreement.
Mesko is the largest producer of ammunition in Poland with 2000 employees.
Nammo is Nordic Ammunition Group with 1400 employees.
Both Companies are experienced producers of ammunition with genuine technology strength with specific calibre areas and products.
After 3 years mutual evaluation of the parties technologies, Mesko has decided to implement Nammo's technology in medium calibre products for deliveries and services to Mesko's domestic defence customers and potential export market.
Last week, President Waldemar Skowron on behalf of Mesko and Senior Vice President Johs. Norheim on behalf of Nammo, signed a co-operation agreement covering development, production and marketing of medium calibre ammunition in Poland.
The event took place in the office of Poland's Economy Department in Warsaw in the presence of the Norwegian ambassador and the Vice President in Poland's Department of Economy who has the responsibility of Poland's Defence Industry.
The agreement is valid as of 15th May 2001 and business development within the framework of the agreement starts immediately.
