Norwegian Seafood Increases By 5.4 Per Cent

989,000 tonnes of seafood has been exported from Norway so far this year, as stated by the Norwegian Seafood Export Council. Norway's seafood export reached a total value of NOK 15.2 billion during the first 6 months of this year, increasing by 5.4 per cent compared to same time last year. This is due to the strong growth of exports to Eastern Europe of frozen herring, mackerel and capelin.
