Norway to sell shares in Statoil, Telenor-report

Norway's government is planning to sell stakes worth 8-10 billion Norwegian crowns ($1.17-$1.46
billion) in both state-dominated oil group Statoil and
telecoms group Telenor , independent TV2 said on Monday.

OSLO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Norway's government is planning to
sell stakes worth 8-10 billion Norwegian crowns ($1.17-$1.46
billion) in both state-dominated oil group Statoil and
telecoms group Telenor , independent TV2 said on Monday.

 TV2 quoted "reliable sources" as saying that the sales would
go ahead before the summer.

 Government officials were not immediately available for
comment. Shares in both companies have risen to all-time highs
in recent weeks.
