Norway Royal Salmon ASA (NRS) has received ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) certification for five of sites. The sites are Mortensens, Næringsbukta, Klubben, Lille Kvalfjord and Store Kvalfjord in NRS Finnmark AS.
- We are happy to have another 5 sites approved by the strictest international environmental standards in our industry. NRS Finnmark now has 7 sites approved by the ASC out of a total of 12 sites. This is a global standard for responsible farming and together with our green licenses, it will further reduce the influence on the environment. This will contribute to move this industry toward a more sustainable development and is of vital importance to our competitive advantage and future growth potential, says Charles Høstlund (CEO Norway Royal Salmon).
Norway Royal Salmon is working to certify all their sites according to the ASC-standard and they have a goal to have all sites approved by the ASC-standard within 2020.
