Norway Could Grasp UK Gas Market

According to and Shell, for atleast the next 10 years, Norway may have the opening to become the dominant exporter of natural gas to the UK and the European Continent. The UK switches from a net exporter of gas to a net importer which presents strong opportunities for exporters. This year will be the last year where the majority of continental Europe's gas consumption is served by domestic supply, offering Norway a tantalizing market to exploit. Norway will open the Vesterled gas pipeline next month, reconnecting hydrocarbon exports to the UK after a long absence.
