Norwater AS reports boost in sales

The Norwater team reports of great interest and busy days in 2016. In a press release, they state that as of the first 8 months of the year, 2016 sales are already beyond target for the year as a whole.

40 % INCREASE

 

«In a challenging market, 2016 has been an incredible journey for us and we are very enthusiastic, humble and proud to be selected by our customers from all parts of the world», says CEO Per Einar Gjerding.

«With orders at hand, we will reach 50MNOK turnover for the year, 40% increase from the last 2 years, close to 100% increase compared with 2013. EBIT looks to end at approx 10%. This is a giant step forward for us and highly deserved for our dedicated and hard-working staff», Gjerding continues.

CHEMICAL CARRIERS AND WELL BOATS

 

Main success has been within chemical carriers and well boats. Major clients in the North Sea, both NCS and UKCS, have also chosen well proven models from Norwater’s standard range of RO Freshwater Makers.

Following 3 years as CEO of the company, Gjerding explains the success in a rough market as follows: «We have been able to «spread the word» in a good way. The improved identity from the name change along with systematic sales work was a «must». Quality products and our level of customer service has presumably added to a positive reputation in the market. But in the end it basically comes down to hard work».

 

From August there is a new set-up, with BKS as new subcontractor for Norwater. Norwater announces that they can still offer available slots end of the year and are also eager to book 2017 production slots.
