norwayexports.no is an important tool for the internationalisation of Norwegian industry according to the Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry

At a press conference on Friday April 22 for the re-launch for norwayexports.no - the official Norwegian trade portal, Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry Børge Brende emphasized the importance of the portal as an important marketing tool for Norwegian industry.

At a press conference on Friday April 22 for the re-launch for norwayexports.no - the official Norwegian trade portal, Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry Børge Brende emphasized the importance of the portal as an important marketing tool for Norwegian industry.

"We're living in a world of increased globalization, and we therefore need a tool which can help us reach international markets. norwayexports.no is such a tool. The portal is an important asset in the internationalisation of Norwegian industry because it offers unique opportunities for foreign companies in a quick and simple way to get in contact with relevant Norwegian companies. At the same time Norwegian companies have a unique opportunity to market themselves abroad,”said the minister.

The occasion for the press conference was the re-launch of norwayexports.no with a new design and expanded functions. The launch was held at the offices of boat producer Hydrolift who have received several interesting leads as result of being a member of the portal

norwayexports.no is an advanced informational tool where one can easily find over 3500 Norwegian companies within 32 different industry sector.The portal has come to fruition in a partnership between Innovation Norway and Index Publishing AS, and is currently being used daily by Norwegian embassies and Innovation Norway's trade offices to market Norwegian industry. norwayexports.no is being used by nearly 100,000 unique visitors every day, where 85 percent is from foreign nations.
