Norske Skog sharpens transport scheme

The export of paper from Norske Skog's three production facilities in eastern Norway will be centralised in one harbor, streamlining the process and saving money.

Currently each of the company's theee factories ships newsprint and magazine paper from its own harbour terminal. When the streamlining is finished, either Brevik or Halden will be Norske Skog's single port. The company produces 3.2 million tonnes of paper per year, of which 60 percent is exported to other European countries.
