On days with cold, clear nights with high humidity can cause condensation on the outside of the glass on windows and doors. Great windows and doors with low U-value permeable less heat. Then, the glass will be warmer on the inside and colder on the outside.
Inside it then becomes less cold from drafts and less condensation on both sides of the window. This happens especially in the fall or early winter.
