NDM has two contracts for delivery of electrical winches to Otto Marines (Singapore) new buildings at PT Batamec in Indonesia, and newly received a third order. The first delivery is due already at the end of January 2008.
The company has also received an additional contract with Davie Shipyard Inc. in Canada for the delivery of hydraulic winches to their new building 2512, which is an Offshore Construction Vessel of the type VS 4220. Fjellstrand has also put in a new order, this time NDM is to supply hydraulic winches for their new building 1679.
NDM has had tremendous progress, and 2008 will be a profitable year, the company writes in a press release. “The order books are nearly full and we look forward to an exiting and not least busy time ahead. The hope is that NDM’s share of the Asian market will develop positively with the opening of a branch office in Shanghai.”
