More Oil Expected To Be Found In The North Sea

According to the Norway Post, Skarv, locatated 200km off the coast of Helgeland, west of Broennoeysund looks to be a promising area for future exploration for gas and oil. The Oil Company BP believe enough oil and gas will be found to cover the costs for the development and also prove to be profitable. The development of the field along with its own production platform is estimated to cost around NOK 8-14 billion.
