Maritime Innovation Day 2013

Maritime Forum Oslo Fjord invited to Maritime Innovation Day 2013 last Friday in Oslo, Norway.

Ending Oslo Innovation Week, Maritime Forum Oslo Fjord invited to Maritime Innovation Day 2013. The main topic of the day was 

"How can innovation solve environmental problems in international shipping?"

Speakers included:
  • Knut L. Arnesen, representing Maritime Forum Oslo fjord.
  • Dag Schjerven, President and CEO at Wilhelmsen Maritime Services AS, presenting International challenges.
  • Tore Longva, Principal Consultant – International Regulatory Affairs at DNV, Future environmental trends in shipping.
  • Erik Dyrkoren, Programme Manager at Maritim21, Cooperation on green innovation in Norway’s maritime cluster.

The event then included some shorter presentations and Elevator pitch, as well as two projects being presented through two CONNECT Springboard® sessions lead by Nils Erik Skarsgård.
