Changes in the climate may have major consequences for Norway. This is one of the conclusions in a report from the so-called Climate Change Adaptation Committe.
The Committee was appointed by Minister of the Environment, Erik Solheim, and was given the task of mapping the consequences of climate changes in Norway.
The report, which will be handed over to the Minister later Monday, concludes that the climate will become wilder, wetter and warmer, NRK reports.
It will be important for the society to prepare for a different climate, and it is urgent to take appropriate measures, the report states.
