Magnetic Emission Control Enters Into MOU with Strategic U.S. Partner, Omega-Tec, LLC

Magnetic Emission Control AS (MEC AS) today announced that through its American subsidiary company, MEC, LLC, it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding and Teaming Agreement with US-based Omega-Tec, LLC. Omega-Tec is a Jackson, Mississippi-based technology company. Under the MOU, Omega-Tec will be MEC’s strategic partner for the Defense market and the Automotive After-Market in the North American market. Specifically, Omega-Tec will be distributing MEC’s breakthrough technology to U.S. Government and American industry customers.

”The management of Omega-Tec represents years of successful US Government and industry experience and we are extremely pleased to be entering into this relationship,” said Bjorn Skjervold, MEC AS’s CEO. Skjervold further noted, “Omega-Tec’s Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist is a retired Department of Defense scientist. At first, he was skeptical of MEC’s technology. He became a believer after he put MEC’s retro-fit kits on his own vehicle and got the same outstanding results that more than 14,000 satisfied customers in Europe have already experienced.”

Recently, MEC AS announced the successful “Engine-Dynamometer Test” conducted at Auburn University, which validated MEC’s breakthrough technology by showing an 11.5%-20% increase in fuel efficiency in combustible engines. Considering these recent developments, Skjervold stated, “We now clearly have momentum on our side and the announcement of our strategic relationship with a well respected American company is further continuation of that momentum.”
