Kongsberg wins new Eurofighter contract

Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace (KDA) has won a contract with Eurofighter for developing a new control system for low level flight.

Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace (KDA) has won a contract with Eurofighter for developing a new control system for low level flight.

The contract is worth NOK 40 million (EURO 5 million), according to the magazine Teknisk Ukeblad.

The contract is the fifth of its kind issued by the Eurofighter consortium to Norwegian industry, and they are part of an agreement of cooperation with Norwegian authorities.

-The contract is a confirmation of the fact that we are seen as being in the forefront when it comes to development of high tech weapons sytems, says KDA CEO Odd Kyllingmark to the magazine.
