Kongsberg Automotive announces two new contracts with total value of 10 MEUR (79 MNOK)

Kongsberg Automotive’s (KA) Fluid Transfer business area announces contract awards for the Chinese and American markets worth a total of 10 MEUR.

The first contract is for supply of Air-Brake couplings to a Chinese truck manufacturer. Supply will begin in 2011. The Air-Brake couplings will partly be manufactured in KA’s facility in Raufoss, Norway and partly in the facility in Wuxi, China.

Fluid Transfer has also received a new contract for high temperature fuel and turbo hose assemblies from one of the US’ largest producers of heavy-duty engines. Supply begins in 2011.

"Both these awards are testament to the innovative products and local supply that Fluid Transfer is capable of offering to our customer base on a global scale. The contracts also prove that we continue to strengthen our market position in two import growth areas for KA", says Jonathan Day, Executive Vice President for KA Fluid Transfer business area.
