The Conference this year focuses on what is really going on in Russian and Norwegian waters in the North: Norway has developed Snøhvit LNG and Goliat is in process. More significant discoveries are being made, which will see new developments. Russia has been developed Prirazlomnoye and is going to drill the Kara sea in the summer. In addition projects off Sakhalin and in the Caspian Sea has been developed in arctic conditions and more projects are planned.

Given the actuality of the RU-NO Barents Project, we have dedicated this Conference to RU-NO Barents and want to focus on how to drill and develop oil and gas fields in the Arctic in an environmentally friendly way.
