Join Oslo Chamber of Commerce for a look into the Norwegian film industry and how culture can be profitable for business.
Bridging culture and industry
A film production has all the challenges of a major business project. Traditional film sponsorships are now being challenged by “culture sponsorship”with product placement, deals, and the danger of “selling out”. When done correctly, opportunities include increased sales, great PR and strenghtened brand identity.
Film producer Stein Kvae, winner of the Norwegian “Oscar” Amanda-prisen for Tusen ganger god natt / 1000 Times Good Night, will tell the story of creating, developing and producing a “Hollywood” level film. Kvae will discuss his team’s next challenge – financing the film about the first days of World War II in Norway – Tre døgn i april.
What is the price of creativity?
Stein Kvae will address the changing terrain of sponsorship and financing projects, and how Norwegian businesses can benefit from culture collaborations.
