Improvement of temperature and over-pressure conditions on the Norne ship

Aker Solutions requested that Mollier should deliver all material and also perform installation services. The installation comprised of all duct work followed by full insulation of the installed ductwork.

The project has offered a number of challenges due to lack of space for personnel on board (POB). This was compounded by the restriction of available space for ductwork and insulation.

Project responsible, Thor Henning Bjorda,l in Mollier is very pleased with the work our staff has performed within this project. They have shown flexibility and willingness to solve tasks in the best possible way. Participating personnel have shown that flexible day / nightshift working during this period has not been a problem during this installation work.

Our own and Aker Solutions personnel have together shown a good ability to cooperate and ensure that the project was completed in a satisfactory manner. Importantly there were no accidents / incidents / minor injuries within in the project which started 15 September and was completed and completed on Monday 10 October 2011.
