Oslo, Norway – 31 March, 2009 - IDEX, a leader in fingerprint sensing technology, products and services, today announced that it has been awarded the 2009 Frost & Sullivan Global Swipe Sensor Product Differentiation Innovation of the Year Award for its innovative SmartFinger® swipe sensor. The award is presented annually to companies demonstrating excellence in new technology and product development above others within their respective industries. "In this new era of communications with the need for secure and convenient identification, the level of innovation as well as the skills and enthusiasm of our employees determines who wins and who loses. IDEX has delivered the most comprehensive swipe sensor technology solutions enabling cell phone, notebook, access and attendance, increased security of financial transactions, all with dramatically improved customer experience," said Dr. Ralph W.
