Dr. Madhat Abdel-jawad has been appointed as President of GexCon Australia. Madhat Abdel-jawad is a recognized high-energy gas dynamics expert. His consulting experience is in leading blast modelling with a focus on consistent excellence and innovative solutions under tight budgets and schedules. He has deep experience in the development and application of new methods for modeling of explosions and reacting flows with application to multiple industries including for both offshore and onshore installations. His interest is in streamlining schedules and enhancing organizational performance. A former rocket scientist, chemical engineer and academic he also has a diverse research experience with over 30 refereed publications.

Dr. Abdel-jawad said ”I am delighted to be joining the leading company in blast modelling in the world. With the addition of our Australia office, GexCon will now be able to provide near round-the-clock support for our clients.
