Funding opportunities at RCN

INTPART is a programme that promotes the development of long-term relations between Norwegian higher education and research institutions and high-quality academic environments/research groups in eight priority countries, including South Africa. The objective is that these partnerships will help develop world-class research and education in Norway. NOK 81.5 million are available for this call. The KLIMAFORSK programme is RCN's large climate research programme that aims to provide new, future-oriented knowledge of national and international significance. The programme’s annual budget is approximately NOK 140 million. The latest of the KLIMAFORSK calls announces funding for research stays abroad, visiting researcher stays in Norway and events that promote the scientific and strategic objectives of the programme. A total of up to NOK 2 million is available for all three types of support. It is an open call.  Read more here.
