FRIPRO allocations: NOK 520 million to projects in medicine, health sciences and biology

The committee has been given an expanded budget framework and was able to award 17.7 per cent of the amount of funding sought.

Distribution by type of grant application

The 76 approved projects are distributed as follows:

  • 37 Researcher Projects
  • 22 Young Research Talents projects
  • 9 Personal Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships
  • 7 FRIPRO Mobility Grants
  • 1 Support for Events

Gender distribution among project managers for Researcher Projects is 8 women and 29 men, and 11 women and 11 men for Young Research Talents. Personal Post-doctoral Research Fellowships were awarded to 5 women and 4 men, and FRIPRO Mobility Grants to 5 women and 2 men.
