Forskning, utvikling og demonstrasjon av CO2-håndteringsteknologi (CLIMIT)

CLIMIT er et program for satsing på teknologier for CO2-håndtering. Programmet drives i samarbeid mellom Forskningsrådet og Gassnova, og retter seg mot forskning, utvikling og demonstrasjon av teknologi for CO2-håndtering. 

Programmets mål er å akselerere kommersialisering av CO2-håndtering gjennom økonomisk stimulering av forskning, utvikling og demonstrasjon.

Dette omfatter:

  • CO2-fangst før, under, eller etter kraftproduksjonen, eller CO2-fangst fra industrielle prosesser
  • Kompresjon av CO2-gassen
  • Transport av CO2
  • Langtidslagring av CO2 gjennom deponering eller andre bruksområder

Programmet vil kunne gi støtte til aktiviteter i alle faser av utvikling og kommersialisering av nye løsninger.
