F.L. Smidth expands and extends their outsourcing agreement with Ementor. The new agreement is an extension as FLS Airtech is integrated into the joint IT set-up.
F.L. Smidth expands and extends their outsourcing agreement with Ementor. The new agreement is an extension as FLS Airtech is integrated into the joint IT set-up. The agreement runs until the end of 2006. The expansion and extension proves that the close cooperation between F. L. Smith and Ementor is further strengthened.
The cooperation started in 1996, where F. L. Smith chose to outsource helpdesk, operation and maintenance of their central IT platform to Ementor. In 2002 F. L. Smith extended the outsourcing agreement also to include their total infrastructure.
For FLS Airtech the agreement involves substantial IT budget savings and a more stabile and standardized platform.
"Through many years we have had a close and good cooperation with Ementor. Together we were early adopters of defining a standardized and structured IT environment based on best practice. The integration of FLS Airtech giving substantial savings and increased quality proves that the model make sense," says Deputy Director Magnus Rimvall, responsible for F.L. Smidth's global IT utilization.
