First allocations of SSF’s strategic funds

Svalbard Science Forum (SSF) has in total 3,8 million NOK available for Workshops and Support Funds in 2012. We received a total of 17 applications by the 15 February, 2012 deadline. Supported workshops and projects shall contribute to SSF strategic objectives for research in Svalbard: Improved and more international cooperation, more open sharing of data collected in Svalbard and reduced environmental footprint through coordinated logistics and the use of new technology.
