Evaluation of PovPeace

The Research Council has initiated an evaluation of thePovPeace programme with the intent to find out what is achieved and how the programme has been managed. The aim of the evaluation is to assess the results of the programme and to give recommendations on future research needs within this area. The evaluation shall be based on the research findings, assess if the programme's objectives are achieved and to what extent the programme has had an impact. Another aim is to identify and give recommendations on further research needs within the poverty and peace research area.

Oxford Research will carry out the evaluation, supported by four international scientific experts within the poverty and peace research area. The scientific experts are: 
Laura Camfied,  Senior lecturer at University of East Anglia,
Mika Aaltola,  Programme Director - the Global Security research programme, The Finnish institute of international affairs, 
Henrik Secher Marcussen, Professor, Roskilde Universitetet, 
Herbert  Wulf,  Professor,  senior research fellow at Bonn International Center for Conversion (BICC).

The evaluation report shall be written by Oxford Research and will be finished by 15 April 2015.
