The latest university to join the ANSAT program is the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, with their satellite called NUTS, NTNU Test Satellite.
During January 17.-19., the NUTS project manager arranged a workshop together with the involved students and industry. Representatives from ANSAT, Norwegian Space Center and Kongsberg Defence Systems attended the workshop and consulted on several issues relevant to the planning and construction of the satellite.
There are currently several MSc students from the department of Electronics and Telecommunications and the department of Engineering Cybernetics participating in the project.
At the end of the workshop, the project was presented to the students participating in the team project subject “Experts in Team” that is focusing on satellite technology.
