BARTEC Appoints New CEO

BARTEC Group, the leading industrial safety technology provider, has today appointed Dr Thomas Lützenrath as the Group’s new CEO.

Bartec CEO Dr. Thomas LützenrathDr Thomas Lützenrath has over 18 years of experience in leading business improvement and transformation across 30 different companies, mainly in CEO or CRO roles. His previous positions include leading as CEO the successful turnaround of AMK Group, a manufacturer of electric drive and control technology, and Partner at Ernst & Young’s operational restructuring practice in Germany. His other prior roles have included a variety of leadership positions at Deutsche Telekom AG and Thomas Cook AG.

IMPROVE EFFICIENCY

 

The appointment of Dr Thomas Lützenrath is the latest step taken by the Group and its majority shareholder Charterhouse Capital Partners LLP to guide BARTEC through the current challenges in the oil & gas markets.

Dr Thomas Lützenrath’s unique contribution of skills and experience will complement and strengthen the existing senior leadership team, comprising Mr Marcus Eisenhuth and Mr Eduard Sworski. Together, the team will accelerate the implementation of the Group’s strategy, which is aimed at improving efficiency and ensuring BARTEC retains its leading position. The Group has expressed that they are grateful to Mr Heiko Laubheimer for his efforts and contributions to BARTEC during his tenure as CFO and, latterly, as Co-CEO.
