Please note that the stipulated deadline is absolute and final. Applicants cannot update or submit their grant application after the deadline has expired (date and time).

Application deadlines and updating applications

It is possible to update and re-submit grant proposals as many times as desirable up to the expiry of the deadline. Only the most recently submitted version will be registered and assessed.

Allow adequate time!

Applicants themselves are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate time to complete and submit grant applications by the stipulated deadline. It is not possible to submit an application that contains errors or is incomplete. Please use the control functions “Check page” and “Check entire” to ensure that your application is correctly filled in.

Make sure that you read all error messages carefully and leave yourself enough time to deal with any errors found in your application.

Contact persons and telephone helpline (+47 22 03 72 00)

All calls for proposals provide a list of contact persons at the Research Council who can help you. In addition, a dedicated telephone helpline for applicants is available. The helpline is open Monday, 3 September and Tuesday, 4 September from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm CET, and on Wednesday, 5 September from 8:00 am until the deadline expires at 1:00 pm CET.

Guidelines for how to fill in the electronic application form

General guidelines for the individual items are integrated into the electronic application form. (Click on the “Guidelines” button to the right under the headings for each item. Guidelines are also available on the Research Council’s open webpages .
