The rocket-launching platform "Sea Launch", in which the Norwegian company Kvaerner has a 20 per cent interest, has completed another successful launch.
The launch of the radio satellite XM-2 went completely according to plan, and its signals were picked up by a base station at Perth, Australia, according to Dagens Naeringsliv.
-We are very pleased with the successful mission, says Will Trafton, head of the "Sea Launch" project.
In January, the launch was stopped at the last minute. The next mission is scheduled for May, Trafton says.
