All involved parties was invited today, friday 6th of june, to The Minister of labours office at 1800. The Minister recommended all parties to give negotiation another chance and be willing to strech on their positions, so that an agreement hopefully could be met.
- We will be present with our negotiation delegation at the national mediator tomorrow and try again to find a solution, says Hodneland.
The conflict is currently completely fixed, and the strike is now on day 13. The cost is up to 2.5 billion, even if less than 200 people are in real strike, several hundred employees in the supplier industry is laid off.
- Because of the seriousness of the situation, OLF announced lockout to get the quickest possible end to the strike, said Hodneland.
