4-Port Ethernet switch with dual Fiber Port

The NS-206AF - NSM-206AF is a new family of 4-port unmanaged Ethernet switches, which includes 2 additional fiber ports.

Compared to the previous NS-206F family, the new series offers a smaller design (only 31 mms wide instead of 64mm), a wider operating temperature range (-30°C to 70°C instead 0°C to 70°C) and a larger voltage input range (max +48 VDC instead of +30VDC).

The 2 Fiber ports can be used to daisy-chain the switches for large infrastructures, or to install a fiber redundant strategy where safety is critical. The fiber optic, compared to standard cupper, is an extremely reliable way to transport information with the lowest loss rate at high speed, and on long distances (up to 60 km for NS-206AFCS-60-T). Two connectors are accepted: SC (NS-206AFC-T, NS-206AFCS-T, NS-206AFCS-60-T, NSM-206AFC-T, NSM-206AFCS-T, NSM-206AFCS-60-T) or ST (NS-206AFT-T).

The NS-206AF/NSM-206AF accepts a very wide range of voltage inputs (12 to 48 VDC). The NSM versions are housed with a metal casing providing an IP30 protection for dusty environments. All the modules can be installed on DIN-Rail.
