FORCE joining forces in Stavanger

Communication and cooperation between the petroleum industry and academic institutions in Norway and Denmark is the topic of the Joining Forces seminar in Stavanger in May.

The seminar is held by the FORCE cooperation forum and is aimed at FORCE member companies. Representatives from the institutes will present their expertise and research activities. Speakers from the industry will speak about future challenges and the need for cooperation with research institutions.

“The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate believes that a good dialogue with universities, colleges and research institutes is important within exploration and improved oil recovery. These topics are highly relevant for the Norwegian shelf,” says Eva Halland, project manager for FORCE and senior geologist in the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).

The seminar will be held at the NPD’s offices on 22 and 23 May.
