Eide Marine Tech AS has been awarded a contract with TRAGS in Qatar for delivery of a Containerized NorWater Freshwater system.

Eide Marine Tech (EMT) has been awarded a contract with TRAGS in Qatar. The contract is for supply of one freshwater maker installed with pre-and post-treatment in a containerized solution. The container is to be installed in an accommodation rig operated by Qatargas.


TRAGS is one of the major Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contracting companies in the state of Qatar with a diversified range of business in Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, Pressure Equipment Manufacture, Repair, Maintenance and other industrial services including Heavy Engineering works.


The contract is also a result of EMT’s good references in the gulf area, from a large number of similar installations and the high quality of our NorWater fresh water makers.

 
The fresh water maker is manufactured in our production facility in Norway. It is customized for the specified Persian Gulf requirement with integrated post- and pretreatment for a combination of potable and technical water production.      

The total installed production capacity is 4 x 60 ton/day in a combination of technical and potable water.

The company is internationally established with partners and agents in different areas in the world and we have a service and aftersales department serving the world.
