Norwegian crab

Of all of the types of shellfish, Norwegian crab is one of the most impressive, healthy and tasty additions to a wide number of recipes both in Norway and beyond. These include both the red king crab and the brown crab species, making their home in the clear fresh waters of the Norwegian coastline

 The total annual crab production worldwide account is approximately 1.2 million tonnes. China is the clear leader and known as the dominant crab nation, followed by crab production in the United States and Canada. Although Norway’s production is relatively small in comparison to the world leaders, this country’s crab products are well-known for their high quality – quality that comes from their origin in the cold, clean waters here.
