Engineers within re-certification of well equipment
Topside and Process Facilities is one of the departments in DNV’s region Technical Advisory Ship and Offshore, and has approximately 120 employees located in Bergen and Stavanger. We offer a wide range of technical advisory services primarily to the offshore market. 

Field Verification and Quality Surveillance in Stavanger is one of four groups within the section Technical Advisory – Stavanger. This section has more than 50 skilled and dedicated resources, serving local, national and international projects and customers. 

The group currently consists of 20 employees and is offering various and interesting working tasks related to ensuring right fabricated and/or installed quality – first time - of objects/assets. We cover 2nd party and 3rd party roles within fabrication and manufacturing processes, based on multidiscipline knowledge within materials-, welding-, inspection technology. Our customers are operators (oil companies), rig owners and users of assets and systems, mainly in the offshore industry. The employees in Stavanger are highly competent within mentioned engineering disciplines working with a broad specter of challenges related to fabrication and installation of trunk pipelines, components and other assets. Together with other technical units in DNV the group is heavily involved in the development of technical standards and recommended practices and as such contributing to shaping best engineering practice.

  • Preferably wide competence and experience from engineering, fabrication, installation and operation of subsea production and processing systems
  • Competence within drilling-, well service- and hydraulic systems
  • Knowledge about process equipment and materials technology
  • Knowledge about risk and reliability based analytical methods
  • A solid academic background with relevant university degree within e.g. MSc or BSc within Offshore Engineering, Material Technology or equivalent is preferred
  • The ideal candidate has 5 -10 years’ experience within one or more of the above fields, however younger candidates with strong technical qualifications will also be considered
