The Sales Manager will be responsible for targeted  customers within the drilling market in the Region. You will be part of National Oilwell Varco's global sales force and also contribute in international sales. The Stavanger Sales Department currently consists of eight people with broad expertise in the offshore industry. You will report to Director of Sales, Stavanger.

Key tasks will include:

  • Key Account for targeted customers in the region.
  • Create and maintain good relations with the customers.
  • Follow up on sales targets and budgets.
  • Understand the customer’s needs and technical challenges, and work pro actively with new solutions together with the customer.
  • Actively participate in the bid process and work closely with Bid Group and technical department for quotations.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations.

Qualifications and skills:

We are looking for market-oriented candidates with good communication and networking skills. Strong commercial and negotiation skills are necessary.You should have extensive knowledge of drilling technology, products and services. You must have excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Relevant university degree and/or experience.The position involves some travel.
