Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) is an independent international research foundation located in Norway at Kjeller and in Halden. IFE is in the forefront of several fields within international energy research, environmental-, petroleum- and nuclear technology, and develops new technological solutions for industry and public sector in more than 30 countries. IFE has founded a new Oil Service Company. The Company delivers Tracer Services based on IFE Technology to the major oil companies in Norway and worldwide.
At present the Company’s analytical laboratory processes annually about 10 000 samples from petroleum reservoirs worldwide. The Company holds a modern laboratory environment at Kjeller, equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation (GC-MS/MS, ATD-GC/MS, HPLC).
In order to strengthen our capabilities and to meet future demands we are looking for a
Preparation of petroleum reservoir samples for the analysis of tracer compounds with GC and HPLC instrumentation
General knowledge of Chemistry
Experience in Chromatography will be an advantage
Able to work independently, and in a structured and targeted manner
Good communication and cooperation skills
Experience in using Microsoft Office tools like word and excel
Certificate of completed apprenticeship within a relevant discipline
All necessary training will be provided
